Latter-day Saints: Redoubt Road, Manukau

About this project:

Standing high on the Redoubt, the Church buildings have pride of place and extensive views over Manukau City.

Amongst the many challenges first on the list was the installation of infrastructure. The land purchased by the Church had been green non serviced Land. It was also built adjacent to the historic Manukau Redoubt site. Amstar worked with the various parties including the ARC and historic archaeologists to ensure all statutory demands were met whilst undertaking the infrastructure works. In doing so Amstar met all resource consent requirements.

Stage 1, the main meeting house, cultural hall and learning centre was completed on time and under budget.

Stage 2, the Missionary Training Centre provides accommodation for Church trainees in a fully catered live-in facility.

Amstar worked collaboratively with the Project Consultants to ensure the client’s needs were met.
