About this project:
The new Westlake Boys High gymnasium consisted of the demolition of 6 classrooms to make way for a new state of the art gym, 4 x classrooms, a function room, teachers offices and a staff meeting room.
The gymnasium is on a sprung timber floor, to international basketball standards. The gym also accommodates volleyball and badminton and full toilet, shower and changing facilities.
The GFA is 1952m2. The project was completed in 60 working weeks.
The building has the full range of building services including electrical, plumbing, data, air conditioning, access control, fire protection, lift and an electronic scoreboard.
